INTRODUCTION
A Material World
Stonehill International School, Bangalore, India, required a year-long independant study project in order to pass 10th grade. Each student was asked to pick a topic and build a project around it. I chose to focus on my two biggest passions; fashion and photography. Challenging myself to do something out of the ordinary, I created a fashion line out of alternative materials. This was composed of four outfits, each made with one to two materials; newspaper, tyvek, duct-tape, caution-tape, garbage bags, and magazine. After each outfit was done, I fitted them to five of my peers' bodies, as well as mine, and with them I conducted a photoshoot to display my photography skills. This website exhibits photographs of the outfits, taken and edited by me.
I hope you enjoy :)
